We do not directly employ caregivers or provide medical or personal care services, and we connect families exclusively with Hawaii Department of Health Office of Health Care Assurance (OHCA) state-licensed Home Care Agencies (-HCA) and Home Health Agencies (HHA-) under HRS § 321-14.8 and HAR Title 11, Chapter 700.

1. Non-PHI / Non-HIPAA Scope & Information We Collect

KonaHomeCare.com is designed strictly as a non-medical consumer referral platform. We do not request, require, or collect Protected Health Information (PHI), clinical medical records, physician orders, Medicare/Medicaid beneficiary numbers, or Social Security numbers.

When you voluntarily submit a care matching inquiry on KonaHomeCare.com, we collect only non-medical scheduling and contact logistics:

Your contact name, telephone number, and email address;
Kona & West Hawaiʻi town, district, or ZIP code where care is requested;
General category of non-medical support requested, estimated weekly hours, primary payment path, timeline, and optional non-medical schedule/language notes;
Technical submission metadata (date, time, IP address, user agent, and source page URL) to document your affirmative TCPA and referral consent.

2. How We Use and Share Your Inquiry

We use the information you submit solely to:

Route your inquiry to one or more participating Hawaii Department of Health OHCA state-licensed Home Care Agencies (-HCA) or Home Health Agencies (HHA-) serving Kailua-Kona, Waimea & West Hawaiʻi (Hawaiʻi County, HI) so they can provide rate quotes and caregiver availability;
Communicate with you regarding your care inquiry via telephone call, text message (SMS), or email in accordance with your affirmative TCPA consent;
Respond to licensed agency partnership or domain sponsorship inquiries;
Maintain internal compliance records and improve site performance.

We do not sell your personal contact information to unrelated third-party data brokers or marketing lists.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We may use standard web server logs and first-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics 4) to measure aggregate visitor traffic, mobile page speed, and search performance. These tools do not identify you personally unless you voluntarily submit an inquiry form.
